A little about me...
I am so glad you decided to visit my webpage. Hopefully you will find it informative and helpful. If you have any questions or would like to see something that is not yet on the site, please do not hesitate to contact me (my contact info is listed under "Home" page).
I have been a certified school psychologist for 8 years. I obtained my bachelors in psychology from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan before attending Radford University in Radford, Virginia for my Masters of Science in Psychology and Educational Specialist degrees. I love the mix of science and humanity found in psychology and am so fascinated with the complexity of the mind!
I have been married to my wonderful husband for eight years and we have a 3 year old son, a 20-month old daughter and a 8-year old "american mutt" dog.
In my spare time (which is limited because of the two little ones!), I love to craft. I enjoy quilting and knitting. As a family, we love to take day-trips to the zoo, botanic garden and museums.
I look forward to working with your child and your family this year. I believe my job is to advocate for the needs of each individual child to ensure he/she has the chance to engage in as much of the general education curriculum as possible. We must always consider social, emotional and intellectual growth. As a team, we work hard to make that happen!
